Historically, League of Legends had made a bad name for itself. However, this was not because of items, champions, maps, bugs, haters, or imbalances. It was because of the community. Recently that all changed.
SirSpam28 and I decided to play a late-night blind pick normal. You know, where the lowest of the low come out. We were going bot, and were willing to fight for it. Here’s how our game went:
Enter champion select. First player: “Hello guys!”
Second player: “Hi everybody!”
Third player: “I’m willing to fill any role that you guys choose not to play.”
My jaw is on the floor. I’m panicked in my Skype call to SirSpam28. Am I being punked?
Player 3 ends up jungling Lee Sin. He camps top and helps mid. I get first blood, but die as second blood. I get 3 “gj”s from my team. Who are these people?! Long story short, no one on my team (myself excluded) died more than twice, and we power-housed to a win with teamwork, including an impromptu Dragon after a 4 man bot lane gank. What a game! I would have taken a screenshot, but I only went 6-5 and had less gold than our jungler. Had to by my worst Ezreal game in forever.
